From the latin word:”capra” (i.e. goat) or the Roman “cabra” “de cabreris” (11th century) or the Provençal “cabriero”.
The village set on a trglodytic foundation and built on two knolls bordering the “Regue” main street is a place for History, Science and Well-being.
Enjoy a walk along its lanes, discover the local geology, go for a long distance hike towards the Luberon range and walk along surrounded by “Waldensian” ( Vaudois) history.
