PEYPIN
D'AIGUES
A little village set in the heart of the
« Grand Luberon »,
Peypin d’Aigues differs from the other villages by the architectural richness of its stone-built hamlets and the huge area covered by its forest which constitutes a real water reserve from where a lot of torrents emerge.
I am looking forward to meeting you strolling along our lanes.

“Podium Pini” is of Roman origin, the root “pey” (Podium, Puy) refers at the same time to the word “stone” or to “ rocky summits”.Does the suffix “ Pini” mean a pine forest on the slope of this stony hill? In Provençal “Peipin”.
Peypin d’Aigues, Fontjoyeuse, Les Roux, Les Dones hamlets are worth visiting.
Have a cold drink on the pleasant fountain square and enjoy the coolness of its botanical path as you take this little walk amid Nature . |
